On Thursday, November 16 at 6:45 pm, our facilities will host the last SC Trade Center Talks of the year. In this session, five women related to soccer will talk about their experiences in the so-called king of sports. Under the title You play like a girl, the talk aims to give voice to the obstacles that women have encountered throughout their soccer careers. The SC Trade Center Talks are free and open to everyone at the SC Trade Center by registering.
Therefore, the last session of the season will be led by Maria Teixidor, lawyer, president of the Women and Business Commission – PIMEC and former FCB executive; Alicia Arévalo, sports journalist at TVE, FIFA World Cup narrator and Aniquiliadoras FC player; Ainara Acevedo, professional soccer referee at FIFA; Marta Feliu, Sant Cugat FC player and resident of Family and Community Medicine and Marta Corredera, former Real Madrid professional player. As usual, the talk will be conducted by sports journalist Marc Martín.
The SC Trade Center Talks launched earlier this year and are organized by the SC Trade Center, Círculo de Mars Qgat and M&M Crew. In addition, the event has TOTMedia as mediapartner and the collaboration of Teca Sàbat, Elia Garden, Navajas, Crossfit Lynxy and Sacum, and the support of the City Council of Sant Cugat, ADE Vallès, Sant Cugat Empresarial, Red de Mujeres and Pimec.
The SC Trade Center Talks is a series of conferences that give a voice to women athletes so that they can share their experiences and difficulties they have encountered throughout their lives as elite athletes. The aim of this November’s talk is to give more detail about the role that women play in the world of top-level soccer, how they live and how they feel.
